Who can play for the Scott Archers?
The Scott Archers are open to Active Duty, Reserve, Guard, Veterans, Retirees, DoD Civilians, military spouses, and spouses of service members around Scott AFB and the greater St. Louis area.
What skill level is required?
All skill levels are welcome. We are building a competitive but community-focused environment for players looking to improve, compete, and enjoy the game.
Are you officially affiliated with the Department of Defense or Scott AFB?
No, The Scott Archers Hockey Club is an independent organization and is not part of the Department of Defense or any of its components.
How often will the team skate?
We will practice once a week from September to April, and games and tournaments whenever we can. Scheduling updates will be posted through our website and social media pages.
Will there be games and tournaments?
Yes. The organization plans to participate in both military and normal tournaments, and exhibition games throughout the year. Want to play us? Visit the contact page and reach out!
Do I need prior military service to join?
Yes, however you are also eligible to participate as a spouse of a DoD Civilian working at Scott AFB or if you are a military spouse
I want to particpate but dont want to play, can I?
Yes! We are always open to people willing to volunteer their time to help grow the team and help with things like team administration, social media, and scheduling.

Are sponsors welcome?
Absolutely! We are actively seeking sponsors and community partners to help support team members lower the cost of ice time, jerseys, tournaments, etc.
Where are practices and games held?
All home games and practices will be held at McKendree Metro Rec Plex, 205 Rec Plex Dr, O'Fallon, IL 62269
